Magnolias Bar of Athens is a sophisticated, yet casual, bar located in a converted historic building in downtown Athens, GA. We are just a few steps away from the University of Georgia campus, making us the closest bar to Sanford Stadium, located at the corner of South Jackson and East Broad. We first opened our doors in 2009 after taking over the previous Tasty World Lounge. We have a large selection of liqour, beer and seltzers, that change with the seasons. We offer one of best bar environments in town, with a beautifully designed two-story bar, complete with a large pet-friendly patio and a Magnolia picture wall. We pride ourselves in having one of the largest bars in town, featuring 3 large projectors and 7 televisions. In 2019, we were voted by the UGA Red & Black as the “Best Bar to Celebrate a UGA Win.”
